Suspect Identified In Beating Of Baby

SINCLAIRVILLE – The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office has charged 34-year-old, Richard Pryll-Simpson, with first degree assault in the beating of his 18-month-old baby. 
Authorities responded to 40 East Ave., in Sinclairville around 11:00 am on Thursday for an unknown incident involving a child, according to a media release.
Once the child was transported to UPMC Chautauqua WCA Hospital, police began their investigation.
The child was flown to Oishei Children’s Hospital Buffalo for further treatment.
Pryll-Simpson, was arraigned in the Town of Cherry Creek Court and committed to Chautauqua County jail with a bail of 200,000 cash or 400,000 property bond.
The investigation is continuing.
