State Police Identify Body Found In Portland

PORTLAND – State Police have identified the body found in a wooded area off of Route 20 Saturday evening as 47-year-old Brian Heyden.
Captain Eric Balon told WNYNewsNow’s Matt Hummel that the death is currently considered “suspicious.” Balon added that Heyden is homeless and is known to travel from his encampment from Brocton to Fredonia on a daily basis.
The body is scheduled to undergo an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
