LAKEWOOD – The Chautauqua Mall was evacuated Tuesday evening following what shoppers and employees said was a potential bomb threat.
Mall security confirmed to WNYNewsNow an incident is under investigation and the facility was evacuated.
Lakewood-Busti Police were on scene along with the Lakewood Busti Police K-9.
Dispatch said more information will be released soon.
As of 8:50 p.m. around two dozen people filled the mall parking lot.
The Chautauqua Mall is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. week days.
