Police Release More Details In Sunday Morning Jamestown Shooting

JAMESTOWN – The Jamestown Police Department has released more details on Sunday morning’s shooting in the area of 96 Falconer St.

According to police, a male was shot several times in the arm by an unknown shooter after an argument occurred in the street.

Police believe the shooter drove up to the victim in a small silver sedan and sped off westbound after firing the shots.

The victim was taken to UPMC Chautauqua for treatment for non life-threatening injuries.

 The victim was believed to have been targeted by the shooter and the incident is not a random act of violence. The victim is not cooperating with the investigation and investigators are asking that anyone who may have info on this shooting is asked to contact the Jamestown Police or through the Anonymous Tips line at 483-Tips (8477) or via the Tips 411 App.
