Award-Winning Author To Appear At Lakewood Bookstore Saturday

LAKEWOOD – Off the Beaten Path Bookstore (28 Chautauqua Ave. Lakewood, NY) will host author and award-winning New York Post headline writer, Deb Pines, this Saturday (September 1, 2018 from 12:00-1:30 P.M.)
Deb Pines will be promoting the latest in her Mimi Goldman series, Vengence is Mine – A Chautauqua Murder Mystery. Pines is the author of three other Mimi Goldman novels and one novelette including In the Shadow of Death.
She lives in New York City with her husband Dave, but spends as much time as she can in the summer in Western New York where she teaches in the Chautauqua Institution and relaxes with family and friends.
A mother of two, she’s a lover of puns, Scrabble, cooking, hiking and indoor cycling. She had her 15 minutes of fame this summer when “Jeopardy!” featured one of her New York Post headlines in a question—that stumped the contestants:

“We’re thrilled Deb Pines accepted our invitation to come to our bookstore,” said store owner, Bob Lingle. “The community has really enjoyed the opportunity to meet with and support authors. With this book’s series connection to the area, I think it is a must-read for anyone who frequents the Chautauqua Institution.”
