JAMESTOWN – Spectrum’s cable rate is going up effective Thursday, November 1.
The Cable provider announced last month that in November it was going to raise its Television rates by one dollar per month.
Spectrum internet will also cost five dollars more per month for those with a Spectrum TV subscription, and a dollar more per month for those who do not.
Currently, New York State is in a lengthy battle with Charter, Spectrum’s parent company, over promises the state says Charter “failed” to keep.
Spectrum is the largest cable and internet service provider in New York and the only source of cable in the Southern Tier.

Spectrum is awful and hasn’t kept a single promise it’s made yet. Not to mention the continuously rising cost of their services!!
