Two People Charged During Friday Night Undercover Liquor Sting

OLEAN – Two Cattaraugus County 7-Eleven store workers were arrested and charged with selling alcohol to a person under the age of 21, according to the New York State Police. 
Authorities said the arrests were made as part of a joint sting operation by State Police and the New York State Liquor Authority.
Damien J. Daniels, 31, and  Heather J. Warner, 35, both of Olean, were issued appearance tickets for Olean City Court, and both will answer charges at a later date.
The alleged illegal transactions took place at the 7-Eleven stores on State and North Union Sts.
Authorities said a total of 15 establishments were checked and a large majority of then were found to be in compliance.

– West End Beverage and Redemption, 2828 West State St, Olean
– 7/11, 183 West Main St, Allegany
– The Hickey Tavern, 96 West Main St, Allegany
– Granny’s Verona, 325 Main St, Olean
