JAMESTOWN – The Chautauqua County Coalition Against Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault will be hosting its 21st annual walk against domestic violence and 16th annual Unity Day celebration on Friday, October 5th.
The walk will begin at noon at the Northwest Bank Ice Arena and proceed down Third Street towards Tracy Plaza. The Unity Day celebration will be held in the lobby of City Hall immediately following the walk.
Kayleah Feser will serve as the keynote speaker of the celebration. Feser is a member of the MSW Center for Elder Law & Justice as well as Chautauqua County’s Council on Elder Abuse and Elder Abuse Enhanced-Multidisciplinary Team.
Proclaimations will be given by Mayor Sam Teresi and on behalf of Chautauqua County Executive George Borrello and State Senator Catherine Young.
Members of the Jamestown Police Department will also be on hand. A light lunch will be provided for those in attendance, and the event will be free and open to the public.
