Bemus Point Natives Renovate Bemus Point Golf Club & Tap House

BEMUS POINT – The Bemus Point Golf Club & Tap House recently had a ribbon cutting to celebrate its grand opening under new ownership.
The Bemus Point Golf Club & Tap House, located at 72 Main St., is situated on 67-acres in the heart of Bemus Point, N.Y. New owners Bryce and Rachel Steffen, who are also Bemus Point natives, completely renovated and remodeled the facility through the help of their partner and the support of their family and friends, and the Jamestown Small Business Development Center.
Joining the Steffens for the ceremony and making remarks were New York State Senator Catharine Young, New York State Assemblyman Andrew Goodell, former Chautauqua County Executive Vince Horrigan on behalf of Chautauqua County Executive George Borrello, Chautauqua County Legislator Pierre Chagnon, and Village of Bemus Point Mayor Bryan Dahlberg.

“For anyone who has visited the facility in the past, they will be astonished by the improvements and upgrades that have been made as soon as they step through the doors,” said Horrigan. “The Steffens have put a lot of time, hard work and dedication into transforming this facility so it can continue to be a vital asset to the Village of Bemus Point and a place where visitors, residents and families can continue to make memories.”
The facility features a 9-hole golf course, and a fully remodeled restaurant and tap house. The restaurant and tap house highlight local brew favorites on tap and a craft food style menu with delicious burgers, sandwiches, and salads.
“I congratulate Bryce and Rachel Steffen on the remarkable transformation they have completed of the Bemus Point Golf Club,” said Senator Young. “They’ve launched this new business with a combination of thorough planning and enthusiasm, which are the best ingredients for any new venture. I applaud their investment in the region’s economy and look forward to the club’s success and growth under their management.”
“This is a phenomenal building and a great addition to our community,” said Goodell. “It is a great time for Bemus Point.”
