JAMESTOWN – The City of Jamestown’s Parks, Recreation and Conservation Department announced Wednesday they will soon be making their rounds to pick up discarded Christmas Trees for Recycling.
Beginning on Monday, Jan. 7, weather permitting, crews will pick up trees placed on the terrace between the street and sidewalk.
Officials ask residents to keep the tree visible should a large snowfall occur.
All trees should also be removed from plastic bags, Christmas lights removed and off of tree stands.
If anyone has questions regarding the pick up, they should contact the city’s parks and recreation office at (716) 483-7523.
