Craft Cottage Of Chautauqua Moves To Falconer, Helps Another Business Bounce Back After Fire

FALCONER – Craft Cottage of Chautauqua opened in Falconer Friday afternoon with an official ribbon cutting at 1975 E. Main St.
Owner Stephanie Green told WNYNewsNow that they are happy to offer a home to many artists trying to sell their products.
“I have probably 15 to 20 artisans and crafters from all over the county,” said Green. “We have a variety, painters, jewelry makers and even electrified art.”
Decco Mesh Designs, a similar operation to Green’s business, relocated to Craft Cottage of Chautauqua following a massive fire in Falconer in 2017.
We also spoke with Jamie Gatton, who does wood burning. See the process and hear more from Green and Gatton in the above video report.
Free cookies and cider will be available Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. as part of the grand opening festivities.
Green said all items sold inside the store are made exclusively in Chautauqua County.
