Future Of Falconer Fire Site To Be Discussed During Open House

UPDATE: Due to the impending weather, the Village of Falconer has postponed tonight’s Comprehensive Plan Open House. It has been rescheduled for Sat., Dec. 8 from 10 am-noon at the Falconer Fire Hall.
FALCONER – The future of a site ravaged by two major fires in recent years will be discussed by officials Tuesday night during an open house.
Representatives from Ingall’s Planning and Design will join village officials during the open house from 5 to 7 p.m.
Officials urge community members to stop by at their convenience to learn about the planning process, identify village issues, discuss assets in the area and talk about upcoming opportunities.
In March of 2017 a fire later ruled arson destroyed multiple properties along West Main Street. Less than a year later, in January 2018, another fire broke out at the Falconer Vac Shop building forcing a demolition of the structure.
