Jamestown Christmas Parade Starts At 6:30 PM Downtown

JAMESTOWN – It is finally here! The Jamestown Christmas Parade and Holiday celebration is tonight at 6:30 p.m. in downtown Jamestown.
The festivities start with ‘We Speak Canadian’ performing at 5 p.m. outside of city hall with the parade leaving the Third Street Bridge around 6:20 p.m.
Police are reminding motorists that Third Street from Hallock Street east to Prendergast Avenue will be closed at 3 p.m.
This year, Jeff Smith the former Executive Director at the St. Susan Center and now Director of Food Service for Jamestown Public Schools will be honored as Grand Marshal.
Smith started St. Susan’s summer lunch program which now serves over 40,000 lunches to kids in need.
Also, be on the lookout for the State Champion Jamestown Red Raider Marching Band that will perform this evening.
The Red Raiders won their third state championship in the past five years.
