Lewis Black Touts NCC On Colbert

NEW YORK – Stand-up comedian and National Comedy Center supporter Lewis Black appeared on CBS’s “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” this week, pushing the NCC’s August Grand Opening.
Black, sporting a National Comedy Center T-shirt, prompted Colbert to ask about the center.
“It is a center for comedy that is being built in, of all places, Jamestown, New York,” said Black.
Black explaining to Colbert how the center’s idea came to be and an overview of the experience.

The National Comedy Center opens August 1-5 coinciding with the 27th annual Lucille Ball Comedy Festival in Jamestown.
The center is expected to draw more than 100,000 visitors annually and continue to evolve as time progress.
