The work of art created in multiple four by eight panels and then installed on the fire hall was done by Artist Ehren Knapp.
Officials said the mural hopes to tell the story of Findley Lake past and present; featuring iconic characteristics of the town like the old saw mill and the skiers and snowmobilers who now fill the area during the winter months.
Leaders came up with the idea around four months ago. Community members donated funds to bring it to life.

Organizers expect to have more murals painted in the future. The next one is planned for the side of the town’s market.
