JAMESTOWN – Potholes in the middle of Third and Main Streets are just a few of many in the greater Jamestown area, in fact, most of Western New York.
On Thursday, WNYNewsNow reporter Ryan Hedrick hit the streets and asked residents what they thought about a new link on the city’s website where constituents can report the road hazards.
One woman said she would be interested in contacting the city especially if there was damage done to her car.
“I could, I would say yes,” said the woman. ”I would text or dial but I’m not sitting at computer to do it.”
Another woman said she already has made repairs to her vehicle following an encounter with a pothole.
“The Lucy Fest is coming so they’re trying to make everything look fantastic for that but nobody’s going to come here if the roads are all tore up,” she said. “They don’t wanna ruin their cars.”
