ALBANY – A Stockton man was recently one of 208 students to graduate from the State Police Trooper Academy.
24-year-old Dalton Walsh has been assigned to Troop C in Binghamton. Walsh said in a recent video interview that he’s looking forward to selflessly serving the people of New York.
“I’m most looking forward to selflessly serving the people of New York,” Walsh said. “I’m also looking forward to building a comradery with other troopers like we did as a class.”
Walsh says he’s looking forward to future opportunities as a trooper.
“I’m looking forward to the opportunities that the New York State Police has, whether it’d be special details or promotions,” Walsh said. “I think this is a great career.”
“The future is always brighter; you can only look up.”
Walsh and the other students will begin their work Monday.
