Allegany Man Faces Weapon Charge

ALLEGANY – Olean-based New York State Police charged Steven J. Miller, 33, of Allegany with criminal possession of a weapon after he allegedly pulled a 20-gauge shotgun during a disturbance Monday at a home along Rt. 417.
Troopers said that because of a previous conviction, Miller is not allowed to possess a firearm. Miller was arrested and released with appearance tickets returnable to Allegany Town Court later this month.
