JAMESTOWN – The city’s SWAT team, along with local drug investigators, arrested multiple residents in connection with a suspected drug trafficking operation at 238 Forest Ave., according to the Jamestown Police Department.
Christine Dean, 44, Scott E. Verrett, 58, and Dawn Dean, 61, are all suspected of selling crystal methamphetamine.
Investigators also charged Verrett and Dawn Dean with endangering the welfare of an incompetent or disabled person.
Christine Dean is charged with drug possession, criminal possession of drug paraphernalia, and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
All three suspects are currently in police custody pending arraignment from Jamestown City Court.
The efforts of local law enforcement are part of an ongoing investigation into the sales and trafficking of illegal narcotics in the Jamestown Area.
Over the course of the last two days, the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force, comprised of officers from Ellicott, Jamestown, and the New York State Police CNET Team, made 7 arrests and confiscated more than two ounces of cocaine, methamphetimine, suboxone, cash, and drug paraphernalia, per multiple media releases received by WNY News Now.
In two of the three media releases, multiple people were charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
