JAMESTOWN-A Bemus Point man is facing a multitude of charges following a reported domestic violence incident early Sunday morning.

Authorities say 36 year-old Joshua Danielson forced his way inside of an Newland Avenue residence and physically restrained a victim.

Danielson allegedly prevented them from calling the police by taking their phone. He also reportedly damaged a door before threatening the victim with a piece of it.

Police charged Danielson with two counts of criminal mischief in the 4th degree, as well as menacing, burglary and unlawful imprisonment (all in the 2nd degree).
