Brocton Man Charged After Deputies Allegedly Find Him Hiding In A Furnace

PORTLAND – Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Deputies have charged a Brocton man with contempt of court after allegedly findng him hiding in a basement furnace.
Deputies were called to a Route 380 residence at 8:50 a.m. Thursday for a complaint of an unwanted man who is subject to a protection order.
Paul R. Dunn III, 36, of 159 Lake Ave., Brocton, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt, fourth-degree criminal mischief and resisting arrest. Dunn was arraigned in Town of Portland Court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $3,000 cash bail.
