JAMESTOWN – A city man is accused of violating an order of protection Thursday morning in the area of Forest and Newland Avenues according to the Jamestown Police Department.
Police say they found Nathan Abers, 44, and a woman arguing. The order reportedly restricts Abers from having any contact with the woman.
Abers was taken into custody for the alleged violation, and was also charged with felony aggravated family offense (previously convicted within last five years for a domestic incident) and second degree criminal contempt.
Abers was taken to city jail.
