JAMESTOWN – Multiple police agencies were reportedly needed to stop a vehicle pursuit involving 21-year-old Damien L. Parisi, who Jamestown Police say possessed a quantity of crystal methamphetamine.
Police say they attempted to pull Parisi over on Camp St. for reportedly failing to operate his vehicle without headlights. Parisi allegedly led police through the city before entering into the Town of Ellicott and, eventually, Ellery.
Stop sticks were reportedly deployed on the vehicle, causing the tires to lose air while traveling on Rt. 430. Parisi was taken into custody on charges of Unlawful Fleeing and 7th degree Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Parisi is facing several other vehicle and traffic charges, and additional criminal charges are expected pending further investigation.
