JAMESTOWN – A Jamestown man has been jailed pending arraignment following an investigation by the Jamestown Police Department into a domestic incident at about 4:30 p.m. Monday at a Buffalo Street residence.
Police said Aaron T. Monroe, 30, of Jamestown, was charged, in addition to several warrants, with third-degree aggravated criminal contempt, second-degree unlawful imprisonment, third-degree assault and second-degree obstructing governmental administration.
Police said Monroe injured a woman during a physical altercation. Police said they found Monroe hiding in a crawl space in the home.
