City Man Charged With DWI, Endangering Welfare of A Child

JAMESTOWN – Jason Green, 37, of Jamestown has been charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, violating Leandra’s Law, and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child after New York State Police responded to reports of an erratic driver Saturday on Buffalo Street Extension.

Police said Green failed several field sobriety tests and was taken to State Police barracks where he provided a breath sample of .15 blood alcohol level. The charges were upgraded because Green had two minor children in his vehicle, police said.

He was arraigned in Town of Sherman Court, where he was released on his own recognizance. He is to appear in Town of Ellicott Court at a later date. The children were turned over to a relative.
