City Man Charged With Strangulation In Domestic Incident

JAMESTOWN – A city man has been charged with strangulation, assault and unlawful imprisonment by Jamestown police in the aftermath of an alleged domestic incident.

At 3:30 p.m. Friday, officers responded to UPMC-Chautauqua-WCA Hospital to interview an apparent victim of the alleged attack. Police said the incident occurred at about 1:30 p.m. at 845 East Second St.Upon investigation, police charged Christopher A. Patric, 38, 845 E. Second St. with second-degree strangulation, third-degree assault and second-degree unlawful imprisonment. Police said Patric strangled and injured his victim.

He was remanded to the city jail pending arraignment.
