City Man Jailed On Meth And Other Charges

JAMESTOWN – Brandon Philbrick, 25, of Jamestown was remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail on multiple drug-related charges after a traffic stop by New York State Police Thursday on South Main Street Extension.
Philbrick was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminally possessing a hypodermic instrument, second-degree criminal possession of drug paraphernalia and second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation.
Troopers said Philbrick was pulled over for alleged traffic violations and was placed under arrest after his driving record revealed multiple suspensions. While conducting an inventory of Philbrick’s vehicle prior to it being towed, the Troopers located a container with four grams of methamphetamine, a digital scale with baggies and a hypodermic needle. Philbrick failed multiple field sobriety tests. He was evaluated by a New York State Police Drug Recognition Expert were he determined Philbrick was under the influence of a stimulant.
