City Man Leads Chase With Dirtbike

JAMESTOWN-A city man faces at least a dozen charges after he wove through traffic using a dirtbike motorcycle on Washington St. just after noon Thursday according to the Jamestown Police Department. 

Fermin Rodriguez Robles, no address or age given, was  reportedly observed operating a motorcycle at a high rate of speed. Robles allegedly fled when police attempted to pull him over.

After a short time, police located Robles on W. 18th St. and he was taken into custody.

Robles was charged with unlawful fleeing police in a motor vehicle, reckless operation, failure to comply, speed in zone, driving on the sidewalk, operation with insurance, operation out of class, speed in zone, no helmet, uninspected vehicle, unregistered motorcycle, no turn signal and move from lane unsafely.

Robles is currently in city jail pending arraignment.
