City Of Jamestown Vehicle Chase Leads To Arrest

JAMESTOWN – A Dunkirk man allegedly led City Police officers on a high-speed vehicle pursuit for a couple blocks near the area of Sprague and Front Streets early Friday morning.

Police say Conrad K. Thomas, 32, stopped his vehicle before exiting his vehicle. Thomas allegedly led officers on a foot pursuit, refusing to stop several times when asked.
Thomas reportedly ran into a wooded area, where K-9 Mitchell took over and tracked him down. Thomas was reportedly discovered hiding near a set of parked cars on Steele Street near tall grass. He, at that point, surrendered.
Thomas was charged with third degree unlawfully fleeing a police officer, failure to comply with a lawful order, second degree obstructing governmental administration and other vehicle and traffic violations.
