City Police Arrest Man For Alleged Attempted Stabbing

JAMESTOWN – Jamestown Police Offers arrested Hector G. Velez Velazquez, 37, Jamestown, shortly before 3 p.m. Wednesday at 614 Spring St. after he allegedly tried to stab someone in front of four children.
He is charged with second-degree menacing and four counts of endangering the welfare of a child and was held pending arraignment. Velazquez was transported to UPMC Chautauqua for treatment and remanded to the city jail.
