City Police: Victim, Killer Walked Together Prior To Altercation, Stabbing

JAMESTOWN-The man fatally stabbed Tuesday evening was walking with another man, deemed to be the perpetrator, down Willard St. when they began to fight according to the City’s Police Department.

The perpetrator, whom police are working to identify, reportedly ran off on Peterson St. towards Sciota St. Police say the two may have been acquaintances because they reportedly walked together prior to the altercation.

The victim is a 22-year-old male and his name is not being released at this time. Investigators are looking for any information that may be known on the identity of the suspect.
