RANDOLPH – New York State Police have charged Amber Conrad, 34, of Jamestown, with Petit Larceny after she allegedly stole a cell phone at the Randolph 7-11 store on Wednesday.
Troopers responded to the store where the complainant stated she set her cell phone on the counter and when she returned, the cell phone was gone. The Troopers reviewed the surveillance footage which showed a female subject (later identified as Conrad), take the phone and drive away.
The Troopers located the suspect vehicle and Conrad at a nearby business. Conrad was found to be in possession of the stolen cellphone and was arrested. Conrad was processed at SP Jamestown, arraigned in the town of Randolph Court and released on her own recognizance. Conrad is scheduled to reappear in the town of Randolph Court on a later date.
