FORESTVILLE – A Jamestown woman is being held pending arraignment following an incident at 7:54 p.m. Wednesday in the Town of Villenova, according to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Department.
Khristie Cook, 30, of Jamestown, was charged with seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia, criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument and second degree harassment.
Deputies responded to the Town of Villenova for a report of an unwanted person. Deputies determined Cook was not wanted at the residence.
They said they found methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and several hypodermic needles.
During the incident, Cook allegedly kicked one of the deputies.
Cook is being held in the Chautauqua County jail in lieu of pre-arraignment bail and is scheduled to appear in Town of Villenova Court at a later date.
