Clymer Man Faces Weapon Charge

CLYMER – A traffic stop for not allegedly yielding to an emergency vehicle led to New York State Police charging a Clymer man with fourth-degree possession of a weapon.
On Wednesday, Nov. 14, Troopers charged Ryan Nelson, 44, of Clymer.
Police said Nelson was pulled over on I-86 in Stow for failing to yield to an emergency vehicle and while speaking to Nelson, the Troopers observed a switch blade knife inside Nelson’s van.
Nelson was arrested, processed at the Jamestown barracks released with an appearance ticket for Town of North Harmony Court on a later date.
