MAYVILLE – Chautauqua County District Attorney Patrick Swanson has released a list of recent sentencing and plea decisions, which include one defendant receiving eight years behind bars.
Jose Guzman, of Dunkirk, was sentenced by Chautauqua County Court Judge David W. Foley to eight years in state prison and three years of post-release supervision on a conviction for third-degree attempted criminal possession of a controlled substance.
In other sentences, Randolph Perkins, of Jamestown, was sentenced by Acting Chautauqua County Court Judge John Lamancuso to one to three years in state prison for third-degree burglary.
Kyle Lewis, of Jamestown, was sentenced by Lamancuso to one year in prison and one year of post-release supervision for fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance.

Jonathan Otero, of Dunkirk, was sentenced by Foley to two years in prison plus three years supervision for second-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
Ontairo Eldridge, of Dunkirk, was sentenced by Foley to four years in state prison and three years supervision for third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Norman Geddis, of Dunkirk, was sentenced by Foley to five years in prison and five years supervision for a conviction of first-degree robbery.
Russell Genovese, of Dunkirk, was sentenced by Foley to six and one half years in prison and five years supervision for a conviction for second-degree assault.
James Hurley was sentenced by Foley to five years in prison and three years supervision on two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. The sentences are to run concurrently.
Christopher Howie, of Jamestown, was sentenced by Foley to one and one half years in prison and one year supervision for a conviction for fifth-degree criminal possession of controlled substance.
Steven Seavy, of Brocton, was sentenced by Foley to two years in prison and two years of supervision for a conviction for fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
