Deputies Renew Search On Wayne County Farm

SODUS – Wayne County Sheriff’s Deputies, who continue to investigate the death of Selena Hidalgo-Calderon, are returning to the farm where her body was found in May.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Department did not respond for comment from WNYNewsNow, but WIVB in Buffalo is reporting that deputies are again searching the area.
The victim was found days after a missing person report but Owen, her 14-month-old son remains unaccounted for.

The search is recommencing in a wooded area of a farm on Joy Road, where law enforcement spent more than a week searching for Owen.
The victim’s body was discovered wrapped in plastic. Hidalgo-Calderon’s boyfriend, Everardo “Alberto” Donoteo-Reyes, has been charged with hiding her body and was recorded on trail cameras entering and exiting the area. He has not been charged in her death. In addition he is charged with illegally re-entering the United States after having twice been deported.
