Dunkirk Man Allegedly Possessed Heroin, Hypodermic Needle During Tractor-Trailer Accident

HANOVER – A Dunkirk man allegedly possessed heroin and a hypodermic needle during a tractor-trailer accident Monday morning on Route 39, according to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office.
Dillion J. Kohler, 25, reportedly told deputies that his tractor-trailer ended up landing in a ditch after he swerved to miss a deer. Kohler also reportedly had an outstanding warrant in the City of Dunkirk.
Kohler was charged with seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a hypodermic needle before being turned over to the Dunkirk Police Department.
