Dunkirk Man Allegedly Possesses Vicodin Pills During Traffic Stop

GERRY –  A Dunkirk man allegedly possessed two bags containing 30 Vicodin pills, a bag containing marijuana, and a large amount of cash during a traffic stop Friday on Route 60, according to the New York State Police. 
Germaine Dias, 41. was arrested and charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana, and possession of controlled substances by ultimate users original container. Troopers searched the vehicle after they reportedly smelled marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle.
Dias was processed at SP Jamestown, arraigned in the Town of Gerry Court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail.
