BUFFALO-A Dunkirk man was recently sentenced to time served on a charge of conspiracy to possess and distribute cocaine with intent according to acting U.S. Attorney James P. Kennedy Jr.
Javier Pagan, Jr., 32, was arrested in 2013 as the result of a lengthy investigation into a drug trafficking syndicate led by David Jesus Pagan and Rafael Burgos, Jr.. Both Pagans and Burgos reportedly distributed multiple kilos of cocaine throughout the Dunkirk area.
Samuel Hernandez, Alvin Torres, Jr. and Angel Pierluissi were also arrested during an operation resulting in the seizure of seven kilos of cocaine and approximately $175,000 cash. An AR-15 assault rifle with a 30-round magazine were also seized.
All six were convicted.
The investigation involved both local and federal agencies.
