Ellicott Police Charge Man With Resisting Arrest

JAMESTOWN – Town of Ellicott Police have charged Wesley M. Priolette, 32, no address given, with resisting arrest and other charges after police saw him walking in Jamestown at about 8 p.m. July 10.
Police said Priolette had an outstanding warrant from the Town of Ellicott. Following a brief incident in which police said Priolette resisted and tried to flee, he was taken into custody and charged with resisting arrest, obstructing governmental administration and the warrant charge for petit larceny.
He was remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail and is scheduled to be in Town of Ellicott Court at a later date.
