JAMESTOWN- A spokesperson for the Buffalo FBI office says the Bureau cannot confirm nor deny they are actively investigating a Jamestown man who spoke exclusively with WNY News Now on Tuesday.
James Chapman, who was arrested less than 2 weeks ago on charges that he was selling untaxed cigarettes, candidly denies allegations that he was a Child Sex Predator.
When asked if there was anything he wanted to clear up, Chapman volunteered information that he was often accused of having inappropriate relations with underage girls.
Immediately following the interview, more than forty comments were posted under the video accusing Chapman of sexual acts with minors. Chapman vehemently denies the allegations.
When asked by WNY News Now Reporter Ryan Hedrick why FBI and ICE Agents raided Chapman’s residence, FBI Spokeswoman Maureen Dempsey declined comment stating any further inquires should be directed to the Jamestown Police Department.
Reporter Matt Hummel has yet to receive a response regarding the allegations from JPD Chief Harry Snellings after texting him early this morning.
