Falconer Bank Robbery Suspect Arrested After Attempting To Rob A Kwik Fill At Knifepoint

JAMESTOWN – The man wanted for robbing the Community Bank in Falconer Thursday was arrested after police said he attempted to rob the Forest Avenue Kwik Fill with a knife later in the day.

Albert Chapman, 34, was tracked down by police after attempting to rob the gas station.
Police said Chapman entered the store and demanded cash from the register. He was unsuccessful in getting any money and fled before cops arrived.
Working with Ellicott Police, investigators determined Chapman robbed the Community Bank in Falconer earlier in the day.

He is charged with 1st degree robbery, 3rd degree robbery and 3rd degree criminal possession of a weapon. Police expect further charges in the case.
Investigators are also trying to identify the vehicle Chapman used to arrive and flee the bank.
Police said the vehicle is a dark colored SUV which they believe drove him to a location in the City of Jamestown.
