UPDATE: Jamestown Man Accused Of Twelve Area Arsons, Another In PA

JAMESTOWN-Multiple sources told WNYNewsNow Wednesday afternoon area resident Jonathan H. Young, 19, is suspected of committing several arsons throughout the city last month.

Young is currently in Butler County (P.A) jail after he allegedly broke into a vacant house and set it on fire near Slippery Rock last week according to the Butler Eagle.

WNYNewsNow confirmed Young is held in lieu of $75,000. Young’s full name is listed in the PA system as Jonathan Harvey Young.

It isn’t confirmed whether Young was involved in all six fires between Mar. 23rd-25th.

Young graduated from Falconer Central School in 2016. The teen won Chautauqua’s Got Talent last year and appeared on stage March 20th this season.

Crews will be on hand for the 2 P.M press conference as more details will be announced.
