WASHINGTON – Nearly 29 percent of all overdoses in America in 2016 were linked to Fentanyl, according to the Center For Disease Control and Prevention’s National Center For Health Statistics.
The CDC said Fentanyl is the most deadly drug in the United States.
The information was based on a census of death certificates for those who died of drug overdoses between 2010 and 2016. From 2012 through 2015, Heroin was the top drug linked to overdose deaths.
