BUFFALO-Gary Hannold, the man arrested after a 2017 methamphetamine investigation, officially received a federal criminal complaint according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
The 41-year-old Bemus Point native was originally arrested in August after Sheriff’s deputies allegedly discovered a quantity of meth and other materials in a backpack he reportedly attempted to dispose of during a motorcycle stop in Sherman.
Hannold was, again, picked up a few weeks ago on an arrest warrant stemming from a joint investigation between the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force and the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
Hannold is facing a charge of Possession with Intent to Distribute more than 50 Grams of Methamphetamine, which carries a range of 10 years-to-life in prison if convicted.
Hannold is currently being detained.
