Heroin, Meth Among Traffic Stop Discoveries; Two In Custody

JAMESTOWN-Heroin, methamphetamine, suboxone and marijuana were seized during a traffic stop Friday evening in the area of 53 River St. according to the Jamestown Police Department.

Christopher S. Byrne, 56, and Heather M. Brown, 27, are both reportedly in custody. Brown was charged with two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Byrne was charged with three counts as police allegedly discovered more heroin on his property. Byrne was additionally charged with resisting arrest and obstructing governmental administration as he reportedly failed to exit the vehicle when asked and pulled away as officers attempted to take him into custody.

Both are in city jail pending arraignment.
