JAMESTOWN – The suspect arrested in a high-speed chase Friday night is wanted for three Buffalo robberies, including one of a cab driver that was caught on video, according to a WGRZ-TV report.
Jordan W. Alexander, 19, was taken into custody by Jamestown Police last week.
JPD said Alexander was the passenger in a vehicle that pulled away during a traffic stop. Police said that Alexander was holding the female driver at gunpoint and not allowing her to stop during the chase.
Buffalo Police Captain Jeff Rinaldo told Channel 2 that Alexander held a female cab driver at gunpoint, robbing her for cash and a tablet. Rinaldo said the alleged robbery of the cab driver occurred on March 16th.
Alexander was arraigned in Jamestown City Court on Saturday and remanded to county jail.
Buffalo Police will take Alexander into custody and formally charge him in connection with the robberies.
