JAMESTOWN – Mariah A. Jackson, 22, of Jamestown, has been charged by Jamestown Police with endangering the welfare of a child after a one-year-old baby was pepper sprayed.
Police were called to a Midgley Street address at about 5 p.m. Tuesday for complaint of an ongoing neighbor dispute. Police said Jackson pepper sprayed a man, but that the nearby infant also was hit with the spray.
Jackson was charged and was being held in the city lockup pending arraignment. The baby was not injured, police said.
