Jamestown Brothers Charged In Meth Operation

BUFFALO-Two Jamestown brothers recently received a three-count indictment for methamphetamine distribution according to the U.S. District Attorney’s Office.

Matthew S. Jones, 30, and Beau K.C. Jones, 32, were both charged with Narcotics Conspiracy, Possession with Intent to Distribute more than 50 grams of Methamphetamine and Maintaining a Drug-Involved Premises. The charges carry a minimum penalty of 10 years in prison and a $10 million fine.

The duo was reportedly arrested Dec. 1st, 2016 after a shipment of more than 360 grams of methamphetamine was delivered, via U.S. mail, to Beau’s house at 70 Colfax St.

Beau Jones was reportedly arrested shortly after the delivery when police discovered the parcel of methamphetamine in his backseat during a traffic stop. His brother was reportedly arrested later that day when police found a safe containing an additional quantity of approximately 80 grams of methamphetamine in his trunk.

The Drug Enforcement Administration and Jamestown Police Department reportedly collaborated on the case.
