Jamestown Driver Charged, Deputies Note 35 Suspensions, Revocations

STOCKTON – A Jamestown man was put in the Chautauqua County Jail following a traffic stop at 1:22 a.m. Saturday on Route 60 in Stockton by Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Deputies.
Deputies initially stopped Lonnie B. Witcher Jr., 37, for allegedly driving with an expired registration. Investigation showed that Witcher had a revoked non-driving ID. Deputies said Witcher was listed as having 30 scoffs on 16 different dates and 35 suspensions and revocations, Deputies said..
He was charged with using an unregistered motor vehicle, unlicensed operation, violation of interlock restrictions and first-degree felony aggravated unlicensed operation. He was arraigned in the Town of Stockton Court and remanded to the county jail.
